IN THE BELLY OF A SHARK… It’s November and, suitably, it’s so fucking cold, so fucking dark. To escape the winter blues, I spent a week in Australia with Young Guns, who happen to be not only one of the best bands the UK has produced in years, but possibly the most fun to hang out with. Their new album ‘Bones’ is a stone-cold classic in the making, and watching them go from being a bunch of dudes playing good music to one of the UK’s brightest hopes for 2012 was, as they say, jokes. Being on tour with them did teach me one vital lesson, though: getting on a plane in Adelaide having just vomited blood after a brutal night of drinking is not a good idea. Enjoy the feature – I almost died for it. Ben Patashnik, Editor
