Research Methods | 2009

Welcome...

Welcome to our Research Methods catalogue for 2009. As the world’s leading research methods publisher, our growing list includes over 1,200 textbooks, reference works and journals covering the full range of methods from quantitative to qualitative and mixed methods. We also publish at every level, from first year undergraduate texts through to more specialized texts for higher-level students and researchers. This catalogue includes just the most recent and most popular titles, so if you can’t find what you’re looking for here, please have a look on our website, www.sagepub.co.uk, where you can find full details of all our books and journals.

2009 is an especially exciting year for us with new editions of some of our most popular books publishing. These include the Third Edition of Discovering Statistics Using SPSS by Andy Field, our only book so far to have inspired students to create a song and dance routine in its honour (pg. 35), the Fourth Edition of Uwe Flick’s Introduction to Qualitative Research (pg.14), and a new Third Edition of David Silverman’s seminal text Doing Qualitative Research

If you’d like to find out more about writing or editing a research methods publication, please contact our editorial team – our contact details are opposite.

I hope you enjoy reading our new books and journals in 2009!
