Julian Cornish-Trestrail Over the past 23 years, Julian has been around the world to photograph various projects. His work has appeared in publications such as Living Etc, Elle Decoration and Blueprint. He photographed the Victorian terraced house on p76. ‘It’s not your ordinary glass box extension; the integrated scheme is unusual, attractive and even recycled. Judging by all the smiles, it’s fun to live in, too.’
Cherry Maslen Property journalist Cherry has worked for The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Times and National Geographic’s Green magazine, as well as Dubai’s Emirates Woman and What’s On. Cherry writes our Property News feature (p155). ‘There are loads of incredible wrecks out there just waiting to be made over.’

John Archer Technology expert John has been writing about home entertainment technology for more than 15 years. He was previously the deputy editor at Home Cinema Choice magazine. John has written this issue’s technology supplement (free with this issue of GDM). ‘I was blown away by the Piezo shower. The idea of heating running water by using its own motion is an inspired example of what’s possible if product designers think outside the box.’
