e’ve taken a giant leap into the unknown by launching a simultaneous online version of A to B. No one is quite sure how this sort of technology will evolve, and we probably wouldn’t subscribe to an online magazine ourselves, but many people like the idea, and the cost-saving, especially for overseas subscribers, can be quite impressive. There’s also a sensible environmental message - fewer paper copies meaning fewer trees and fewer air miles. If you prefer old fashioned paper, nothing will change. For a small extra charge you can subscribe to both.Why? Because this allows you to read the cosy, tactile paper version on the train, in the bath, or wherever you like, and donate it to your library or dentist’s surgery when you’ve finished.Then if you need to refer back, you always have online back numbers to hand. Clever eh? If it doesn’t work, we’ll go back to paper...
