In all honesty,we didn’t expect to be testing child carriers again,but it’s a wonderful experience,and of course, extremely useful for the magazine. Living without a car is a wonderful discipline.There’s no fallback plan, so everything has to work.Will those trains connect? Will these waterproofs work? Can we get this child (or these children) from A to B,warm,dry and in safety? It obviously helps living in a town with all facilities to hand, and half-hourly trains to a metropolis 25 minutes away. Car-free life was much more complicated in rural South Somerset. A quick note about tedious admin things.We continue to experience occasional difficulties with our state-of-the-art database,so if you think an error has occurred,do get in touch.Some subscribers appear to have been vapourised without so much as a by your leave.Apologies for that.
