We always enjoy riding pedal-powered machines, but we’ve been testing some really lovely examples this month. The Gazelle Easy Glider has to rate as the nicest electric bike we’ve tried for a while,if not the nicest we’ve evertried. And Greenspeed’s new X4 rail recumbent is sensational. They’re both comfortable machines, which is fortunate, because to our delight (and rather to our surprise), Jane is expecting, and on schedule for a Christmas delivery, some nine years after the last arrival. An unexpected opportunity to test child carriers all over again... let’s face it, child seats are difficult to test in anger without a child. Finally, after ten years of listing the magazine by even months (February,April, etc),we’ve changed to odd months, so this issue becomes September and so forth. As if life wasn’t confusing enough!
