Pair of Library Chairs by Gillington of Abbey Street, Dublin. c1815. An exceptional pair of Regency cove back mahogany librar y chairs, the backs of figured mahogany with car ved scroll brackets, the turned tapering front legs surmounted by round paterae linked by reeded front seat rail with sabre back legs on brass castors. Upholstered in dark hide. 32" H x 26" W x 25" D. Provenance: Palace House, St Stephen’s Green, Dublin.
