Peter Aaron Photographer Peter was influenced significantly by his time assisting renowned photographer Ezra Stoller, and has specialised in architectural photography for more than 35 years. He photographed the Dream Space on p98. ‘It was a joy to behold and explore, full of humour and double entendre. I’ve thought about putting a house inside a house, but Adam Kalkin took it to another level.’

Linda Clayton Known throughout the kitchen and bathroom industry as a leading expert, freelance journalist Linda wrote the bathroom trends feature on p117. She says: ‘The most exciting thing in bathrooms has to be the new range from Jaime Hayon for Bisazza Bagno. As well as this, it has to be the latest eco showers. I never quite understood the trend for monsoon showerheads; surely the guilt ruins any pleasure?’

Sarah Browne Bringing a fresh eye to the pages of GDM, art editor Sarah has previously worked on lifestyle, fashion and luxury magazines. She loved designing this month’s Christmas gift guide on p141. ‘It’s hard to pick a favourite from the gift guide, but for me it would have to be the DAB radio with the Orla Kiely print. Its retro style would look great in my kitchen.’

Pauline Deltour A young designer for worldwide brand Alessi, Pauline is renowned for her clever use of steel wire. She developed her affinity for this material while studying in Paris and worked for Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design in Munich before starting her own business and teaming up with Alessi. She says: ‘My favourite Alessi piece is the very beautiful Spirale ashtray by Achille Castiglioni.’ Read about her work in Launch Pad on p41.

Melanie Whitehouse Based in Brighton, freelance writer, author and editor Melanie has written for many interior magazines, newspapers and supplements. This month, she interviewed Gus Zogolovitch about his innovative new-build in north London (p56). Melanie says: ‘I love Gus’s passion for his home and how he wanted to change the way we build to suit modern living. He talks a lot of sense – builders in this country should take note.’
