As a society we travel further today than we have ever done before. With the advent of budget flights, the cost to the passenger may be low but the cost to the environment is sky high. CO2 emissions from aircraft doubled in the decade between 1990 and 2000 and these are combined with nitrogen and sulphur emissions, tripling the impact. The pretty white trails across the sky
