Caption > CHRISTIAN NERDRUM: These shots are taken right in front of the new opera house in Oslo, a massive building that is the source of a lot of pride for people in this country. The area used to be very industrial and filled with containers, but now the whole place is being restructured. The opera house is at the end of the long Oslofjord in the capital. We usually kite an hour further out, but sometimes the wind comes all the way in here. We originally planned to do this shot at sunset but we forgot the pump, so it ended up as a night session. The wind was just strong enough for him to stay upwind and a big studio flash on land managed to light Sigve, the kite and the opera house as well as the people watching him. SIGVE: As I forgot my pump it got dark before we even got out. It was a bit crazy to kite there, but it was a cool idea from Christian. Funnily enough, the wind was actually really stable, too.
