I hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year break – perhaps you used the time to make inroads into your backlog of painting or tinker with some new rules but you’re more likely to have wasted it entertaining relatives and consuming unhealthy quantities of food and drink. I know I did!

Anyway, it’s back to serious business and another twelve months of wargaming await us. MWwill be on the road when the new show season kicks off and we’ll be exhibiting for the first time at Vapnartak in York on 6 February and again a week later at Hammerhead in Newark, the latter show making a welcome comeback after a year’s absence. As ever, I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible there.

In the meantime, thank you to everyone who has returned the recent readers survey forms. They make for fascinating reading and there’ll be a full report on the results in the next issue.
