First, the bad news. It can’t have escaped anyone’s notice that prices have gone up a lot recently and that is particularly true of paper and postage/shipping, two of the biggest costs associated with magazine publishing. I have tried to absorb these extra costs for as long as possible but unfortunately there will have to be small increase in the cover price of MWnext month, the first for two years.
The good news is that this makes a subscription to MWeven better value. By subscribing, you will save the equivalent of getting more than one issue a year free plus a free box of figures from a top manufacturer thrown in. So don’t delay, and beat the price rise by subscribing now.
Next month’s MWwill also be a supersize one to incorporate the full and official guide to Salute so you will have plenty of time to plan your visit to this highlight of the wargaming calendar.
Until then, enjoy this month’s issue and, for those going to the West Midlands Military Show in Wolverhampton on 13 March, I look forward to seeing you there.
