McLaren chief Martin Whitmarsh says that Jenson Button’s form has turned up the heat on Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton was involved in another contentious clash with Ferrari’s Felipe Massa during the Indian Grand Prix on Sunday while his team-mate Button raced to a podium finish.

Team head Whitmarsh said: “Lewis will be feeling under pressure because of the great performances Jenson is producing.

“I don’t want him [Hamilton] to enjoy being beaten by his team-mate. I want him to try to beat Jenson, just as I want Jenson to beat Lewis.” Lewis vs Massa, p2-3
