British Touring Car Championship arch rivals Matt Neal and Jason Plato have both been fined after a pit lane dust-up last weekend.

The pair clashed on the track during the qualifying session at Rockingham and tempers boiled over when the duo returned to the pits. The drivers had to be pulled apart after grappling with each other and Neal aimed a punch at Plato.

“Plato thinks he can get away with these things, but he can’t,” raged Neal.

Plato countered that he had been the innocent party in the skirmish. “He was the one who grabbed me,” he said. How the scuffle unfolded, p2-3
