Hirvonen quits Ford to pair up with world champion Loeb

By James Attwood The WRCdriver market has been thrown wide open after Mikko Hirvonen quit Ford to join arch-rival Sébastien Loeb at Citroën. Hirvonen was runner-up in this year’s points race driving for Ford, but will now drive a Citroën DS3 WRCalongside the man who beat him to the crown.
The deal means that exCitroën driver Sébastien Ogier is a free agent. Ogier’s manager, KimVatanen, said: “We have something lined up for next year.” Citroën’s new-look, p2-3
