One Sun One Network
No matter how different we are, we share the same earth, sun, water,
air and sky. Today, with Zain, we’re also sharing One Network, a service
that allows you to make outgoing calls at local rates, recharge your line
using locally purchased top-up cards, and receive incoming calls for
free. And since, exclusion has no part in One Network, all Zain lines are
automatically switched to this service without the need for activation.

USA The dream lives on
8At long last, a black man is in the White House, not just as a member of staff but the President of the USA! Now every black person in the world can hold his or her head high, anywhere in the world, and without saying a word, proclaim to all and sundry, by gait and demeanour: “The dream has come true.” Read all about it here.

South Africa The politics of snakes and ladders
Though democracy has gradually taken root in Africa, some elections in the recent past have not been very pleasant. Not so in Ghana where elections in December provided so many positive points worth emulating across the continent.
The political situation in South Africa took another ominous turn on 11 January with a Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA) ruling which put the ANC president, Jacob Zuma, back in harm’s way and his ascent to the state presidency in jeopardy.
