New Website As this issue goes to press, we are in the fi nal stages of developing a new website – to be launched in the new year. Our aim has been to design a website that mirrors the style of the magazine and is clearer and easier to navigate. It will also feature a fully-searchable archive, and will eventually give access to outof-print articles.
Editors’ Selection Check-out www.resurgence.org/ selection for three articles that we just couldn’t squeeze in to the January/ February 2008 issue. The fi rst is a continuation of the Nonviolence theme that features in this issue: an inspiring meditation on Anger by Thubten Chodron, an American Tibetan Buddhist nun, who suggests that anger is a passing cloud on the pure nature of mind. We also include a piece written by Richard Heinberg
called Transition Time, which expands on his argument in this issue that we need to move from the Age of Excess to the Era of Moderation. Finally, we publish a review that could just make cycling to work your next step to a low-carbon lifestyle. Called, The Cycling Community, it looks at how easy it is to make a climate-friendly lifestyle change.
Online Issues PDF fi les of our current issue, and many of our back issues (some now out of print), are available for download from our website at a special price. www.resurgence.org/sales/download.htm
