The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, starts his seven-day fast and prayer vigil for the Middle East, in St John Chapel,York Minster on 13th August 2006.The Archbishop gave up a planned family holiday in favour of a week sleeping rough in the Minster in order to raise awareness and lead prayers for the conflict between Israel and Lebanon.
