Our front cover this month from the lens of ace landscape photographer Dennis Hardley is of the coastal scenery at Slains Castle on the cliffs at Cruden Bay in Aberdeenshire, said to be the inspiration for horror writer Bram Stoker when he wrote the first five chapters of ‘Dracula’ there while on holiday in the 1890s.
