Company History

Exact Editions is a web-based content management and access management company working for the world's best publishers. Exact Editions has built a scaleable technology platform which replicates and aggregates exact copies of printed magazines and books (any printed document can be handled) for web distribution and reliable searching.

Exact Editions was founded in the summer of 2005 by Tim Bruce, Adam Hodgkin and Daryl Rayner. The founders have backgrounds in software, publishing and marketing and they are all veterans of the first wave of web publishing.

Exact Editions launched a subscription service with four magazines in March 2006. In September 2007 Exact Editions adapted its technology for multi-language support and in October 2007 Exact Editions launched a service helping publishers to promote printed books.
